I disliked Hannah throughout all three books in the series, and finally tolerated her in this last book. I don't believe I've ever wanted to shake a little common sense into a character in a book before. I waited for this last book hoping that this book would round off Hannah's rough sides and polish her up, but I was disappointed that she remained thorny like the roses and possibly never found the true love a heavenly father that could have refined her to shine. Nevertheless the series was good, entertaining and descriptive as well as thought provoking.
I really enjoyed reading this book. You never knew what Hannah was going to do next.It was so nice to read a good clean book. I am not Amish but enjoy reading a out them.I felt sorry for her first husband. I felt so bad when......sorry I do not want to give away the story.Keep the good books coming.
This book was unlike any other Amish story I have ever read. The main character was difficult and mean-spirited! I really felt sorry for those who were on the receiving end of her wrath. It was a journey of faith and forgiveness that took Hannah through some very hard times.
A good story about knowing when to move on from what you think you need. All three books in this series are well written.
Different than most Amish stories but such a good read. Hannah is so human, so frustrating but so real. She isn't perfect but loved reading of her growth. She does become a good wife, mother and homemaker thru all the trials life throws at her.
Sometimes when new things are ordered they don't look or feel new, this book does!
Formy wife. Very good.
Excellent book! Best one of the 3.
