This book is too much for me to handle in a good way. The drama keeps continuing and you feel like that one who wants all the details because you have to know what to pray for, right? Seriously, I love this book and about to indulge into the next one.
Fantastic..storyline is compelling..author weaves story in a way that draws you in deeper as it progresses..she unfolds a little about each character then ties it into story that moves it forward. Irresistible..hard to stop reading nonstop...good thing my kindle battery runs down because i would read from cover to cover. Thanks reshonda t. Billingsley for restarting my reading adventure.
I can't wait to read part 3 this book had me crying and thinking about how great God is if you believe and have him in your life !!!!
This is great book. In the process of buying the 2 other books that go along with this one. Ms Billinsley is an excellent author!!Books keeps you wanting to read until you have completed it! The books deals with real life issues that families go through and have to deal with sooner or later. Recommend to buy especially of you are a reader of Christian books.
When I seen this book along with "Everybody Say Amen" and "Say Amen Again" were part of a trilogy I went ahead and downloaded all 3 to my kindle to read in order, so that I could have something to read while on a plane ride and vacation. I read both "Let the Church Say Amen" and "Everybody Say Amen" in a week. The story lines are excellent and they build on top of the other. They kept me wanting to know what was going to happen next so I stayed up late and woke up early trying to see what was going to happening in each of the characters story lines. The Jackson Family is a wonderful example that there is no perfect family and that we should not put humans (regardless of their status) on a pedistool. Each member of the family had their own issues that they had to deal with. I laughed, cried, and shook my head all through out both books. I finished "Say Amen Again" at 11pm last night and was so into the ending that I immediatly dove right in to "Say Amen Again" and stayed up until 1am trying to see what on earth is going to happen with Rachel's situation. I highly recommend purchasing all 3 books and reading them in order back-to-back. They would all make excellent movies. Wonderful writing job Roshanda Tate Billingsley!
This book was a wonderful continuation of the first book "Let the Church say Amen." I hope that the author will continue to write one more book. the characters in the book are growing up but their lives are not yet complete. Even though the daughter finally got her life and her priorities in order, the two brothers still have some issues to deal with, I think the story will not be complete until all lives have been touched in some way and their lives of completion are on paper. ReShonda Tate Billingsley is a wonderful writer and her books always keep your attention.
