I have to say it is thanks to this book and Sylvestry that I passed my boards on the first try. The types of questions that they have along with the rationales are so helpful. I did not take a review class when I decided to take my LVN boards, I used this book instead. I would only recommend do it this way if you are taking your boards right away or up to 4 months out of school.
Bought this to review for my NCLEX PN. Read the test strategies in the beginning of the book, I swear by them. Saunders is everything when it comes to NCLEX reviews. Passed my NCLEX with the minimum 85 questions! Order it! Be prepared to have an extra sheet of paper to cover the answers as you go through the book, the questions and answers are right side by side. Other than that this is like the Bible, learn it!
I purchased this book after I finished the saunders comprehensive book (green) 4th edition. This book is very helpful strengthening your weaknesses and an excellent practice questions. If you want to supplement your reading and study material this book is very helpful. I recommend it........and I passed my Nclex exam by the way.....HARE KRISHNA.

I started to study this book after I graduated my LVN program. I studied the parts of the each section by covering the answer, and trying to answer the question without looking at it. I read all the "rational" for each question. After a month I finally I went to take the test. I thought I was not ready to take the test yet because I did not study all of the questions, but I took it anyway. Thank GOD I passed the test after just 85 questions. I really love this book and I know that it will help anyone to pass the NCLEX.

Question on left half of paper and right hand side of question is answer, rational, and test taking strategy for ALL questions. Nice layout! It would have been nice if the book came with a card to cover answers as you go through the questions.Unit 3 Integrated processes (86 pages) More questions on the nursing process.CD is a nice addition for those who like to set at the computer for a while to study.This book and CD are great tools to boost your confidence for that date with the board!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND..... "Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-PN® Examination" 4th edition. Well worth the money. Most comprehensive review I have found so far.GOOD LUCK! (Please care for every patient as if they were one of your beloved family members.)
